SUMMARY:Understanding Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
DESCRIPTION:\nThis webinar will provide a discussion of what is known about CRPS and how this relates to a person’s experience of the condition and the treatments that they may be offered. There will be an emphasis on how individuals can take control of their own management, with plenty of time for discussion and questions. \nOur presenter: Dr Anne Daly is a specialist pain physiotherapist with many years of experience working with people with persistent pain, through predominantly the public health system, but more recently private health. She has Clinical Lead roles at both WorkSafe Victoria and the TAC and for the past three years Anne has lectured to physiotherapists undertaking Masters degrees in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy on the clinical applications of pain sciences. Anne is involved in a number of national consortia providing pain education to clinicians and to people with persistent pain. She champions initiatives that aim to improve healthcare for people with persistent pain such as ePPOC and Project ECHO. Her passion is working with a person with pain to regain control over their ability to undertake activities that are of value to them as an individual and empowering them to ask questions about the value of the healthcare they are receiving.\nSponsored By:\n\n \nHave you checked out our series before? \nWe have a huge list of interesting webinars from 2021 and 2022 with links to the FREE recordings!
