Arthritis

Millions of Australians live with arthritis. It’s a general term for over 150 conditions that affect muscles, bones and/or joints causing pain and stiffness.

Back Pain

Back pain is a common issue for many Australians, and is rarely the result of a serious condition or damage to your spine.

Osteoporosis causes your bones to become weak and lose their strength, making them break more easily than normal bones.

Gout

Gout is caused by too much uric acid in your bloodstream, resulting in extreme pain and swelling, most commonly in your big toe.

Polymyalgia Rheumatica

Polymyalgia rheumatica causes muscle pain and stiffness, particularly affecting your neck, shoulders and thighs.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis is a type of inflammatory arthritis that mainly affects the joints in your back but can also affect other joints.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia causes widespread pain and tenderness throughout your body, often accompanied by fatigue.

Juvenile Arthritis

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is a group of inflammatory joint conditions that affect children and teens under the age of 16.
