We’re pleased to announce that, thanks to the State Government of Victoria and the Public Record Office of Victoria, we’ve received further funding through the Local History Grant Program. This funding will enable us to complete Part 2 of our project, Digitisation and Cataloguing of Musculoskeletal Australia’s Photographic Collection. Our archivist, Christiane Hennequin, has begun the arduous process of researching and cataloguing 1,000 photographs from our analogue photograph collection. Christiane completed Part 1 of the project in January this year, which involved digitising the 1,000 photos. The photographs in this collection represent our shared history from our humble beginnings in the late 1960s to the early 2000s when we began to adopt digital photography. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support of this project, which has been invaluable in the success of our application for further funding. The digitised photographs will be made available for viewing online, and we look forward to being able to share them with you in due course.
