Working Wise: Managing Your Musculoskeletal Conditions and Work

Then join us online for our free 2022 Koadlow Community Lecture on Wednesday 7 September. Our presenters will provide tips, strategies, and resources to help you manage your symptoms, stay at work, change jobs, understand your rights and more.
 

Our presenters: Dr Anne Daly is a specialist pain physiotherapist with many years of experience working with people with persistent pain, through predominantly the public health system, but more recently private health. She has Clinical Lead roles at both WorkSafe Victoria and the TAC and for the past three years Anne has lectured to physiotherapists undertaking Masters degrees in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy on the clinical applications of pain sciences. Anne is also involved in a number of national consortia involved in providing pain education to clinicians and to people with persistent pain.

 Ms Jessica Dawson-Field is a Senior Associate in Maurice Blackburn’s Melbourne office. She helps employees navigate a wide range of employment-related issues throughout their working life. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor. Before joining the firm, Jessica gained experience working in an employment and commercial litigation team for a top tier commercial firm, a union and as a research assistant at the Centre of Employment and Labour Relations Law at the University of Melbourne. 

Mr Frank Imbesi is a Senior Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant and Managing Director at AMS Consulting. Previously, Frank was a consultant at WorkSafe Victoria. AMS is a Victorian based provider of consulting services in the areas of occupational injury prevention and management, occupational rehabilitation, manual handling training, vocational services and employment services.
