Tofu Appetiser

Tofu, often hailed as a plant-based protein powerhouse, is a remarkable ingredient that can transform any meal. With its ability to absorb flavors and adapt to various cooking methods, tofu is perfect for both seasoned chefs and home cooks alike.

Time: 20 mins                                                                                                 

Serving: 1-2 people

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 pieces tofu (hard)
  • 2 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp, chili oil
  • 2 tsp, minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp oyster Sauce
  • ½ tbsp seaseme oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp, toasted sesame seed

Method:

  1. Airfry the tofu, at 180oC for 8 mins on each side.
  2. Mix chinese black vinegar, soy sauce, chili oil, garlic, oyster sauce, sesame oil and sugar together in a bowl to make a sauce
  3. Plate the tofu and sauce together.
  4. Sprinkle toasted sesame seed on top, ready to serve.
